within the aesthetics of immateriality and immortality
it is told, that the african bembe sculpture incorporates the soul of a person that has passed away. to proof this finding the sculpture was surveyed by digital image processing. high quality aesthetic images were produced using a state of the art satellite software for earth detection. by applying the software package ‚center of gravity‘ a hidden hole was found in the 3D-reality of the sculpture exactly at the position of the dead person’s “soul”.
