motorscience -research and -production is the domain of the AVL-company. while driving a virtual car –a real „audi“- in the environment of the exhibition „art, science and communication“, the driving behaviour of all the drivers was detected by more than 256 parameters. each drive lasted 3 minutes. 54.000 virtual kilometers were driven alltogether during the 6 months period of the exhibition. the recorded data were edited and forwarded to the driver but since then have become highly valuable for further research for the company to make the car more informed, smart and intelligent, to „individualize the massproduction“. this project is the industrialized version to the concept of the personalized and individualized artwork.
